A Strange Hour in Budapest - Director's View

Attila ‘Atus’ Herkó, the director of ‘A Strage Hour in Budapest’ has made the first of his planned behind-the-scenes documentaries called ‘A Director's View’. Some of you may have seen excerpts from this in the recent WARP TV piece from Mexico. Now on Recoil's Youtube channel, you can find the full interview with Attila where he talks about how the film came together, meeting Alan & the Recoil team, the logistics of getting the film shot, and the long post-production process to finally bring it to conclusion.

Atus’ production company UMATIK has just launched a new Facebook page where the film can also be seen, and where you can learn about the company's productions.

Pre-orders are being accepted right now for ‘A Strange Hour in Budapest’ via the Recoil Official Store. This is a full HD production, with DTS-HD 5.1 surround sound and stereo soundtrack mixed by Alan Wilder & Paul Kendall.

The ‘Red edition’ arrives in a classic black case with twin-option reversible cover art. It includes a 170gm 16-page booklet packed with information and photo manipulations by Ákos Szénási, and the disc also features extra promotional films (Want, Prey and Allelujah) and live projections. All on-line orders will be dispatched (no sooner than July 21st) with an exclusive code to receive downloadable extras such as a PDF art booklet with extra spreads, a soundtrack sampler, Recoil ‘live’ photographs and project wallpapers.
